Hi! :-)

I want to study a master in chemestry at the University of Calgary, but first I need to improve my english. For that, I am going to study the next level of ESL to improve it. After that, I will back to Venezuela to work like a process engineer. I think with my master and english I will find a good job in my country. I hope so.

Hi! :)

In Venezuela, we don't have that kind of  medicine. I never heard about of treatment with leeches in my country. For me is not good idea to try leech therapy. I thin if I'll see a leech, I am going to fall down. Leeches are too gross for me. In my opinion, scientists are invented a lot of modern medicines that can help people feel better. So, why do we have to use that gross thing to cure illness?. If leeches really cure all the doctors will use this therapy to heal people but they don' used it, do they?

Sorry Julie, but I can't put a picture of a leech. It is too gross for me

Video games

Hi :)

I think that the good or bad of video games depends of how much time kids spend playing these. When kids spend a lot of time playing video games, they don't socialize and they get more violent. I think when children are playing video games their parents have to supervise them and give them some instruction about how long they going to play and what kind of game they going to play. I am agree that some games can teach many useful things but most of the games don't. Today most of the games are violent and I think the violence is not good for anybody.

Good manners

Hello :)

In my city Puerto la Cruz, we don't have a good public transportation. For people in my town is very difficult to go from one place to another. We only have buses. When you get on the bus the people are so rude, they don't give their seat to elderly passengers and they eat and talk very loud on the bus.

Whit respect to the New York's subway, In my opinion this transportation is unpleasant like the c-train here in Calgary. I don't think we need more rules or police to make people polite, I think the people learn their manners at home or at school. They only have to remember their manners and try to be nice whit each other. That is the only way the public transportation become more civilized.
