Hi! :)
In Venezuela, we don't have that kind of medicine. I never heard about of treatment with leeches in my country. For me is not good idea to try leech therapy. I thin if I'll see a leech, I am going to fall down. Leeches are too gross for me. In my opinion, scientists are invented a lot of modern medicines that can help people feel better. So, why do we have to use that gross thing to cure illness?. If leeches really cure all the doctors will use this therapy to heal people but they don' used it, do they?
Sorry Julie, but I can't put a picture of a leech. It is too gross for me

Video games
Hi :)
I think that the good or bad of video games depends of how much time kids spend playing these. When kids spend a lot of time playing video games, they don't socialize and they get more violent. I think when children are playing video games their parents have to supervise them and give them some instruction about how long they going to play and what kind of game they going to play. I am agree that some games can teach many useful things but most of the games don't. Today most of the games are violent and I think the violence is not good for anybody.

Good manners
Hello :)
In my city Puerto la Cruz, we don't have a good public transportation. For people in my town is very difficult to go from one place to another. We only have buses. When you get on the bus the people are so rude, they don't give their seat to elderly passengers and they eat and talk very loud on the bus.
Whit respect to the New York's subway, In my opinion this transportation is unpleasant like the c-train here in Calgary. I don't think we need more rules or police to make people polite, I think the people learn their manners at home or at school. They only have to remember their manners and try to be nice whit each other. That is the only way the public transportation become more civilized.

Caracas Metro
Hi!
I lived in a town called Puerto la Cruz in Venezuela. In this city we don't have subway only bus, but if you go to Caracas you can found a Metro. There are some rules that peolpe should follow when they use the Metro. In the Metro you can not drink or eat anything. You can not put your personal things in the seats next to you. You should not yell. All these rules are writing in a big posters around the metro station. So far, The rules for public transportation in my country and here are the same. I think the people learn these kind of etiquette at home, sometime at school. Also there are many signs that show you how to use it.

Topic Two
Hi!
I think that Restorative justice is a program that offers the chance to victims and offender to see face to face and talk about the crime. So both the victim and the offender can express your feeling about the crime and feel better. This is a program that helps both the person who committed the crime and the victim to overcome what happened.
I don't think that the victim should forgive the criminal. I think that nobody has the rigth to kill another person. If you kill somebody, I think you must pay for that. You must to go to a prission and spend a long time there. When somebody kills a person, I think that this is a bad person and this really sick.

A wonderful day in Banff
Hello Everyone!
I wen to Banff last Sunday with my family. This is a beautiful town. We visited a hotel, I do not remember the name :( .This hotel has many years, but looks like new. When you go into the hotel, you can see nice stores, an aquarium and a chic spa. We also went on a frozen lake. The wather was very cold and snowing.
We walked almost all the town and bought some souvenirs. The store that I liked most was one that sells precious stones. You can find a lot of kind of precious stones in this store, most of them are very expensive. This town is a wonderful place to visit.

Venezuela
Hi! :)
Venezuela is very different to Canada, the supermarkets in Canada are bigger than in Venezuela and you can find many products here. In Venezuela is difficut to find some products, for example: milk, flour, bread, sugar etc. The price of the products here are similar than in my country. The clothing in Canada is cheaper than in Venezuela and most of the clothing here is fancy. The cost of the gas in canada is more expensive than in my country, for example in venezuela you can fill your tank with gas for1,2 $, but here cost almost 50 $, is too expensive.
